A Decade of Growth
and Milestones

Branch entered India in 2019 after obtaining its NBFC license and issued its first loan in the country the same year. Since then, India has become a key market for Branch's digital lending services. Through the Branch app, users can apply for personal loans, access credit quickly, and manage repayments seamlessly. In 2024, Branch crossed a ₹500 crore loan book in India and now facilitates over one million loans every month.

Neeraj leads Branch's India business. Previously, he served as a consultant with Accenture, and has held tech, strategy & marketing roles in financial services. He is an alumnus of IIT Guwahati and IIM Lucknow.

Anshul leads Branch's engineering team. He comes with extensive startup experience and has worked at companies like Zynga and Urban Ladder. He graduated from IIT Roorkee, with learning stints at UFL and IIM Ahmedabad.

Anshu leads Global Finance at Branch. A Chartered Accountant from ICAI, he began his career at KPMG and has worked with Credit Suisse and Maersk before joining Branch.

Ankita leads Finance in India, driving financial operations and strategy. She previously worked at EY and BDO India in audit and advisory, bringing a strong, detail-oriented approach to finance.

Vishal leads Branch's operations in India. His decade-plus professional journey includes stints at companies such as Amazon and eLitmus. He is an alumnus of IIM Rohtak.

Krishna leads the People function in India. She has previously worked with Fiserv and JustAnswer, building people processes, and enabling business growth. She is an alumna of IIT Kharagpur.

Head of People Operations

Divya leads People Operations and Business Partnering in India, focusing on scalable processes and employee experience. She brings experience in HR Operations and OD, and has previously built teams at Urban Company.

Sharath leads Credit and Analytics in India. With over a decade in data science, he has worked at DataRobot and Flipkart, building teams and driving data-led strategy. He is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur.
